Dr Annamma S. John, Head of Research and Training is responsible for coordinating and managing leprosy research of TLMTI. This includes basic sciences as well as operational and field research and collaborating with national and international partners. She has built expertise in research and training and developed TLMTI as a leader in leprosy research. Annamma has over 25 years of experience in clinical leprosy and training in leprosy. She has experience working with state governments as ILEP coordinator. Her areas of expertise also include monitoring and evaluation of leprosy and related programmes.
We work with individuals and communities disadvantaged by leprosy, irrespective of caste, creed and religion, by addressing their physical, mental, social and spiritual needs to uphold human dignity and eradicate leprosy.
